Shutting Down the Chromatography System (SmartShutdown)
Selecting the Timebase
In the first step of the SmartShutdown Wizard, select the Timebase to be equilibrated.
Tip:
If a timebase is already selected in the current window when you start the SmartShutdown Wizard, this step of the wizard is omitted.
The right-hand pane lists various computers, timebases, and networks. The access right(s) of the user determine which items are displayed.
Select the timebase to be equilibrated. To do so, SmartShutdown Wizard support must be available for at least one pump in the timebase for which you want to create a shutdown or standby program. If you select a timebase that includes an instrument that is not supported for SmartShutdown, an error message appears.
Tip:
SmartShutdown cannot be used for a timebase that contains an UltiMate 3000 Flow Manager.
For an overview of how to create a shutdown or standby program using the SmartShutdown Wizard and a list of supported instruments, refer to Shutting Down the Chromatography System (SmartShutdown).
